Evelyn L. Hawkins is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IKJ Enterprises, a technology-enabled solutions company advancing safety, security, infrastructure performance, and operational resilience. She brings together industry expertise, strategic leadership, and emerging technologies to help organizations navigate complex operational challenges and make informed, risk-aware decisions.
With more than 30 years of business and program management experience and extensive experience in public transportation and infrastructure, Evelyn combines expertise in safety and security, program management, regulatory compliance, technology strategy, and business development. Her work reflects a practical understanding of how people, processes, technology, and governance intersect to strengthen organizational performance.
Under her leadership, IKJ Enterprises is evolving beyond traditional consulting toward an integrated, technology-driven business model that combines specialized industry expertise with artificial intelligence, data analytics, intelligent monitoring, infrastructure technology, and recurring managed services. This evolution reflects Evelyn’s commitment to developing scalable solutions that strengthen operational oversight, improve decision-making, and build long-term organizational resilience.
Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Science in Technology Management, specializing in Environmental Health and Safety, from North Carolina A&T State University. She also holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence Management and Policy from Purdue University. In addition, she is a Juris Doctor candidate at Purdue Global Law School.
Her interdisciplinary education bridges business leadership, artificial intelligence, occupational and environmental safety, and legal studies, supporting her focus on responsible technology adoption, AI governance, regulatory compliance, and organizational risk management.
Her professional credentials include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Transit Safety and Security Program (TSSP), and Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program (PTSCTP), among other industry qualifications.
